Frequently Asked Questions

If your question does not appear on our list, please visit out Contact Us page to submit your question.  We are honoured to serve you!

"What kind of church are you?"

We are a non-denominational group of believers committed to the full gospel of Jesus Christ.  See a list of Our Beliefs.

"I've never been to church before. What should I expect?"

Expect heavenly worship, bible-based preaching in a loving friendly atmosphere where you will be greeted upon arrival and treated as family. Expect to experience God’s presence.   Visit our About Us page to get an idea of who we are.

"I don't have any fancy clothes. What do I wear? Is there a dress code? Can I wear jeans?"

We don't think that clothing should be a barrier however, use your discretion in coming into the house of God.

"I have young children. Can I bring them to church?"

All ages are welcome! Parents of children (from babies to 12 years old) can entrust their children to the caring and well-trained nursery care attendants and teachers in the children's ministry.  This is available for the Friday evening and Sunday morning services. This allows the parents the option to participate in the services uninterrupted.

"Do I have to leave my children/babies with the children's ministry?"

Not at all. You can choose to keep your children (0-12 years) with you during the services and to sit in an area of the sanctuary reserved for parents with small children.

"What's the difference in the services? Will I hear the same message at all the Services?"

A new message is preached at every service as the ministers are led by the Holy Spirit.

"I live outside of Trinidad and Tobago. How can I hear messages from TCC?"

You can listen/watch live our services on Friday evenings at 7:00p.m. and Sunday mornings at 8:00a.m. Atlantic Standard Time (AST).  You can also view or listen to the messages in our message archive here on the site.  We hope that, if ever you are in Trinidad and Tobago, you will visit us!

"Do you have separate services for adults and young people?"

While children up to 12 years participate in children's ministry in our Sunday School Facility everyone else worships together in the same service. The messages are preached in a manner that all could understand.

"Do you have opportunities for smaller groups, like youth, singles and seniors?"

We do have ministries that cater to different groups such as youths, seniors, men's, women's and others.  See a full list on our Get Involved page.

"What Bible version do you use?"

Our main bible version is the King James Version (KJV). Other versions, such as the Amplified Bible (AMP) and New Living Translation (NLT), are also referenced. In the children's ministry, the New International Version (NIV) is generally used.

"Where do I park? Is there secure parking for my car?"

We have secured parking during each service, on the church compound and extended car park directly across from the church.

 "What if I don't have a Bible?"

We will be happy to lend you one for the service or share ours with you. Check with an usher to request one. If you would like to purchase your own, we have a wide selection available at our bookstore in the inner lobby of the sanctuary.
